WHAT WILL WE DO?
Cadiz "the little silver cup", mythologically raised by Hercules after his tenth labour.
This small city founded by the Phoenicians in 1104 BC is considered the oldest city in Western Europe.
For 3,000 years it has been disputed by Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantines, Visigoths, Muslims... All attracted by its strategic location and the strength of its walls, which have resisted the attacks of Napoleon and the British corsair Francis Drake, among others.
It saw off Christopher Columbus on two of his four voyages to the "New World", being one of the most important ports on the planet during the trade with the "New World".
An active participant in the Battle of Trafalgar and the birthplace of the first Spanish Constitution. Nowadays it is a small fishing town off the map that boasts of its particular gastronomy, its beaches in summer, Carnival in winter and beauty all year round.
Do you still have any doubt to visit us and spend a splendid time discovering yourself?
You will also discover the reason for its more than one hundred towers, viewpoints and canyons; the oyster stone; the Battle of Trafalgar, Easter Week, its many boarded-up windows in the buildings...
And many more anecdotes and curiosities told by our local guides who will surely help you to get the most out of the city with their advice and indications that only a local can give.
Our Private Tours are exclusive and customisable, and are the best way to enjoy Cádiz.
